Camera and torch
- Use a compatible iPhone with a rear camera and available torch.
- Keep your fingertip still over the camera and torch without pressing hard.
- Stop if the phone or your finger feels uncomfortable or warm.
- Allow Camera access in iPhone Settings if the permission was denied.
- Motion, poor coverage, weak signal, or interruption may produce no result.
Blood-pressure entries
Take blood-pressure readings with an external cuff, then enter them manually. Rate My Heart does not derive systolic or diastolic values from the camera.
Export or delete data
- Open Settings in the app to export a source-labeled CSV.
- Delete individual entries from their detail view.
- Delete a profile to remove its local records.
- Use Delete All Data in Settings to remove all local app data.
- Deleting the app also removes its local data from the device.
